I first drew Chewbacca, a Wookie, and on a lark he eating a cookie. It was an easy rhyme that was probably lodged in my bean from a children’s book. Nevertheless, the rhyme was so easy that I thought that’d be a thing – silly rhymes of pop culture characters fit on a collector’s sketch card. I did the Star Wars sketches here, all 12 Doctors, and a few others. It wasn’t easy. I’ve abandoned the gimmick for now. Maybe I’ll pick it back up if I do a themed sketch book.
“Yoda vs. 2 Darths” was suggested during one of my WSIDT sessions. During these sessions, I draw as fast as possible. That may account for the Darths drawn in a different style from Yoda.
“Luke and Leia” was done during another WSIDT session. I submitted it in the auction held at this year’s Heroes Convention. I hope it found a good home.
