In honor of Disneyland’s 65th Anniversary, I am filling this autograph book with Disney Parks inspired drawings.
Disneyland Park will mark the 65th anniversary of it’s opening day on July 17, 2020.
In the 17 days leading up to the “birthday” I will draw 1, 2, 3 maybe as many as 5 sketches each day in an autograph book.
Over 100 pages front & back in the book.
I’ll probably only be drawing on the front (right side) pages to avoid messy ink bleed-through. Still, it’s over 50 pages of 145cm x 110cm (5.5 in. x 4.0 in.) blank potential.
Every day I will select 1 suggestion to be the last sketch of the day.
If I like more than 1 of those ides, then I may draw them too.
You may pitch your Disney Parks inspired ideas on that day until 5:00pm EDT (2:00pm PDT).
I will post sketches as I go on Instagram and Facebook.
Here on the blog, I will share the day’s work at the end of each day, which will doubly serve as a prompt for the next day’s suggestion pitch window.

Disney Parks.
There are 12 of them around the world.
There are 4 Disney cruise ships.
There are 24 Disney resort hotels.
There is also 65 years of history to explore.
They have thrilling attractions, lovable characters, spectacular shows and themed trash cans!
Disney, Muppets, Star Wars & Marvel*.
Every day is a chance for you to pitch a suggestion, because every night the “suggestion box” is emptied. If it ever was in a Disney Park, then it’s fair game.
*... and Avatar, Indiana Jones, Duffy and all of “The Great Movie Ride.” Barbie? Sure. All of which are or have been in a Disney Park.
As a special themed edition of WSIDT, the primary qualification is that the idea be Disney Parks inspired. With the exception of “Adventures by Disney,” if it’s the kind of thing covered by the Disney Parks Blog, then most likely your idea qualifies. Non-Disney mashups probably won’t qualify. “Bart Simpson on the Matterhorn bobsleds” doesn’t qualify because The Simpsons have yet to be introduced to the Disney Parks,
Get your thinking-ears on and follow and play along.
